My business
I have always wanted to be a writer and this blog is one small part of that career goal. In addition to my copywriting and editorial portfolio, I'm working on a collection of short stories and will be shopping them around for publication in the coming months. I decided not to make this a 'writing' blog because, well, pretty pictures are pretty and I'm kind of shy about blogging about my personal authoring endeavors (that is, of course, until these pieces have been published).
At any rate, the short stories and editorial pieces are for fun, the bread-and-butter comes from working with small businesses or individuals (mostly in the fsahion, lifestyle, home decor/interior design, art/phography sectors) strengthening their brand through creative copywriting, consistent branding ideas and clever marketing. I'm open to new clients right now, so if you'd like to speak with about a project, let me know. I write:

I launched this blog over a year ago for the sole purpose of discussing home decor, art, fashion and design. I have always LOVED magazines and I blame my mom for that. Her bedroom is littered with Traditional Home, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest and back-issues of Domino Magainze....one day I'm going to have pieces in those, fyi. Writing and managing a blog is a lot like working at a magazine (I presume), in that I get to share products, pieces and images that I find personally inspiring.
As for the blog, it's updated two to three times a week, right now, though soon, I'll be more posting more frequently and in a more structured setting. One of the exciting things I'm working on, is a monthly edition of Shelter/Fashion Blog Giveaways. If you'd like to submit your blog's giveaway to me, let me know and I'll post a link to it, once the edition is posted.
